Our community involvement efforts date back to 2014 when we acquired the rights to the Color Purple Musical. This production, directed and performed by individuals from minority backgrounds with extensive community acting experience, had two sold-out shows. Our Walk Run Pedal Jamz Festival®, a trademark event features a leisurely walk, run, and bike ride along with child-friendly activities, free giveaways, food trucks, vendor tents, and live concerts – all free for the public. The 2022 Walk Run Pedal Jamz Festival® took place on April 30, 2022, in collaboration with the Tennessee Aquarium 30th Anniversary and the Chattanooga River Market at Ross’s Landing on the Riverfront in Chattanooga, TN. The festival attracted approximately 15,000 attendees and was open to the public at no cost.

Passionate about community involvement, Gary has dedicated his time to various organizations, such as developing after-school educational programs and coaching inner-city children. He has been actively engaged in charitable events like non-profit Walk-A-Thons, Weed & Seed, Kiss Ride for Charity, and supporting organizations like Cobb County Crimes Against Kids and The Chattanooga March of Dimes.
Under Gary's leadership, People Staff, Inc. acquired the rights to stage the Broadway musical "The Color Purple" at the Chattanooga Choo Choo Centennial Theatre. This marked the first theatrical performance at the venue in two decades, showcasing local talent. Gary's team initiated annual All White Affairs to honor community-involved business leaders. Following a tragic bus accident in Chattanooga, Gary coordinated with local businesses to provide 100 tickets for affected children to attend a Globletrotters basketball game, bringing joy after the distressing incident.

She has a background working for a globally renowned computer company and one of the largest utility firms in the country. With strong problem-solving abilities, creative thinking, and expertise in computer applications, process redesign, and project management, Karen is a valuable asset to the management team.
